Juno and the Paycock is a play by Seán O' regarded and often performed in Ireland, it was first staged at the Abbey Theatre in Dublin in It is set in the working-class tenements of Dublin in the early s, during the Irish Civil War period.

It is the second of his "Dublin Trilogy" – the other two being The Shadow of a Gunman () and The Plough and the Stars ().Place premiered: Abbey Theatre.

Juno and the Paycock, tragicomedy in three acts by Sean O’Casey, produced in and published the following in the grim slums of Dublin during the Irish civil war of –23, the play chronicles the fortunes of the impoverished Boyle family, into which O’Casey pours all of the strengths and shortcomings of Irish character.
